Greetings, Hive dwellers!
Well, I'm not technically new to this forum, since I registered in 2013... but at that time I just asked for help a couple of times, and that was it. Now I recently decided to go back to map creation, so I returned, asked a few more questions, downloaded numerous fabulous models and spells, and started trying to help other people... So I thought I might as well introduce myself a wee bit.
I'm Sieben, I'm a 30-year-old paladin, from France. When I'm not busy fighting the Undead Scourge, I like to create maps. I especially love Warcraft 1 and Warcraft 2 atmospheres, it reminds me of good old times. Warcraft 2 is the very first game I bought (I was 10), and just thinking of it fills me with nostalgia! I don't know how many times I read Tides of Darkness and Beyond the Dark Portal manuals and finished the games
So anyway, I like designing stuff that take place in theses games timelines. I started working on a project in 2013, but I had to stop after a few weeks due to lack of time. Now I'm back on track, although I might be on and off once again. I also have another project, whose story takes place in the real world in medieval times, but this is a recent idea and I have to think it through.
I'm not an experienced mapper, I just master the very basics of WE. I learn everyday though. It'll take time to finish all the projects I have in mind, and I just hope I'll be able to release something while the Hive still exists and computers can still run Warcraft 3!
In the meantime, I thought I could wander around the Hive for a while, I like it here
