AI-Generated Sound/music section

So there is a section for AI-generated icons.

I think there should be added a section for AI-generated music. There are AI tools that generate music. For example Suno.com, Murika, soundraw, etc that can generate both with lyrics and only instrumental based on given description.

For example this is my profile on Suno, It allows you to create 20 free songs (10 queries) per 24 hours. You can also browse otehr people's creations.

accepting AI, is a floodgate we don't want to approach.

It undermines all the custom hand made icons and textures and music of our amazing community done during the years. If we accept AI. sooner then later Ai generated contant will overflow all sections and all human made ressources. I whole heartedly say NO!

If people want to use AI for their map. I'd say = let them. but just like given credit to users who's ressources they used. I think they should credit the ai generated content as well.

Moderating AI ressources is one heck of a challenge as well. I'd say. No nope no we don't want to approach this with a 10foot poll.

We do not need AI slop for this.
Frankly, I think the hive should distance itself from anything and everything AI-generated, be that icons, music or otherwise.
AI is a highway toward the death of humanity in art and we should not support that.

I agree with these take. Fully.

I question the need for any AI generated content in the first place in a community that has been built on creativity and art - human made art.
Maybe some members think that AI is the future, but I see it as a full regression of what this community is build upon. Worst case would be and is very likely that people really forget the basics and just rely upon this. Think of it as the people on the ship in Wall-E.

Maybe people don't see, don't want to see it or are just disconnected from the community (yet lying to themselves that they still are) .

AI generated content, yeah, no thanks. For private use it is okay, but this community should not foster, promote or even give way to get it in any way.
Call me a curmudgeon, but learning something, creating and improving should be something fully human. No quick dopamine hit will ever replace a good learning-creating-improving cycle.

I think because you're an artistic person you're inclined to think that there is always an option.
I either use a handcrafted human demon hunter icon, or an AI one.

But what if such an icon does not exist? I can barely draw a stick figure. Yeah you can ask someone else to draw it but what are the chances of someone willing? talented artists are rare and likely have things they'd rather be doing.
AI can fill that gap.

Speaking purely practically, not morally.
But I don't think this applies to music, AI is by definition generic. And if it's generic you can find real music to use. I really struggle to think of a type of music you'd need for a Warcraft map that cannot be found on the internet that is human made.

I think a lot of people will get a knack by doing this sort of music, like they did something themselves albeit using AI tools.
