I'm tinkering around at the moment and try new things. So far, I'd like to make an upgrade that turns the terrain in certain regions of my map into shallow water where previously was solid ground (still using the same texturing).
I've treid myself, browsed through the site's tutorials, checked the search function but couldn't dig out a thread answering my question (even tinkered with the fog, but the optical effect is a completely different and far from what I want to achieve).
May anybody help me please changing the terrain to shallow water in a region?
(An explanation of how to do it should be enough, unless it's very complecated.. in that case I'd appreciate a test map).
