add attack move ability to a spell book?

Is there a way to add attack move ability to a spell book so it can be used whilst a spell book is up?

Yes, it's possible. I've seen that being done by Aeroblyctos in his The Chosen Ones campaign.
But I don't know his secrets. Perhaps, you could write him a private message (via user CP) with a question about that. I'm not sure you're going to find out that secret from someone else.
