Adblock is great, no more pesky adds indeed.

However, what do you guys think of white-listing the hiveworkshop or other sites you support? I don't mind adds if I know the hive profits from it.

Or do many people even use it?

I am not against ads.

Or at least that's half true. I don't like it when they FORCE you to look at ads. Like before watching a youtube video you have to watch this ad for X seconds and then press skip.

It's fine if they have some pointless banner at the side though. So yeah, I am running with adblock 24/7

There is a whitelist option for adblock so you can help youtube channels/website you support by allowing ads without having to disabled adblock. It's quite neat - makes you feel like a generous god.

Do note that many media services such as Channel 4's on demand will block you outright if you have any form of ad blocker. I suspect many sites will do something similar as well (especially resource heavy ones).

On Topic: I have Adblock on 24/7, even on websites I support such as the Hive Workshop.

I am just saying that you an support websites like the hive by adding them to the whitelist option. It's in 'option' 'customize' 'show adds on a webpage or domain'. I hate adds with all my being but even I can understanding turning them on for sites I support, especially since I don't donate anything.

I've dowloaded it once and I started getting those 'watch 'till the end only' type of ads on every youtube video. Ever since I removed it, I have only been getting the skipable ones (which didnt exist back then, I think).E:Heh, 404 posts

Banners are fine like what Hive is using. Its also cool that it doesn't follow you even when you scroll down the forum(some site/forum does that).

Ye Hive should be whitelisted. For example for the last months(/years?) I'm getting that add that wants to teach me how to nurse old people.
I haven't clicked it yet but man, some day I will need it!
