Well, for example I'll use the magic Epcienter by magthetidon96
I make a simple change in her line
let's change this line
"return 90. * 60 level." ------> "Return 90. * 70 level."
now I'll save:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/502/erroch.jpg/
this error is common when
if I'm going to test the map screen (error screen)

Why do receive varied mistakes when saving magics of the "haiveworkshop?"
Does a program exist besides NewGen that can aid myself?
how to know if I am using updated NewGen?

I think he has to do with this message that I usually receive when opening a map for the first time.does anybody know?

"this map has been saved by a more recent version of the editor
It may contain data which are no supported in this version.
Continue loading map?"

thanks

Don't worry about the message: "this map has been saved.. bla bla... Continue loading map?" I'm not sure, but seems like that NewGen is detected as an older World Editor version.

JNPG already includes anything you need... Maybe adding cJASS to work with Hashtables, but that's just a GUI thing. The error seems pretty clear... but I don't know about that system and how those values may work. I'm sure someone will came up with a solution.

"return 90. * 60 level." ------> "Return 90. * 70 level."

JASS is case-sensitive, so return is not the same as Return. It would need to be return 90. + 70 * level to follow the syntax properly.

if I'm going to test the map screen (error screen)

That error generally occurs when you haven't updated your jasshelper to version 0.A.2.B. To do so, open the .7z file in that link, copy the two .exe files (clijasshelper.exe and jasshelper.exe), and paste them in your jassnewgenpack5d\jasshelper folder and your jassnewgenpack5d\bin folder. (say "yes" to replacing the old files) That should hopefully fix that error.

"this map has been saved by a more recent version of the editor
It may contain data which are no supported in this version.
Continue loading map?"

Just click "continue loading map". It usually means that the map was saved with the normal editor, but it is still fine to open with newgen.

edit: @watermelon: Fixed heh.
