You could do the r * t = d (Rate times distance equals time) equation. It won't be perfect, but it'll be pretty accurate. Set the arc to zero.

Hahaha. I must have been delirious last night. The equation I meant to say was r * t = d. I wrote r * d = t. Lol, at least that gave me a good laugh in the morning.

With that you would also have to check if the unit is still in AoE of the missile once the time is up (assuming missile is not tracking, which with shockwave it is not). Also the unit could have moved (granted probably not by much, but it still could move), making your calculations more inaccurate, unless you constantly update the distance of the unit, and if you are going through that much trouble you might as well create a dummy unit as the missile and use triggers.
