[JASS] Ability cooldown

I was wondering if there is any way to start a cooldown on a specific spell when you want, like when an ability is turned off.
Either just the default ability cooldown, or a custom time.

Im using gui, and i havent rly wanted to take the time to learn jass.. so plz dont confuse me with any more jass then needed

You can't modify ability cooldowns with any trigger functions. The only function that does anything to cooldowns is the Unit - Reset Ability Cooldown function, which isn't what you're looking for.

Was hoping there would ateast be some way of starting the cooldown written in the spell editor.

Why don't you just disable the ability and start the timer. When timer expires, you readd the ability.
