We all know that starcraft 2 will have some new abilities which warcraft 3 did not offer, What are these new abilities and how could they be used?
I'll start
Command Center SCV loading: The new terran command center can load scv's into it and lift off.
Uses: Could be used in a like impossible missions map where you have to be the last one standing.
Burrowing: Zerg can burrow more units they could in the origional starcraft. The burrowing system of the crypt fiend in wc3 was... limited at best.
Uses: I'd like to see nuke the whales make a come back. As well as bounds.
Supply depot burrowing: The terran supply depot can burrow and act like a gate to allow units to pass.
Uses: Gates, with ease.
Advanced build menu: The advanced build menu allows you to build the higher tech buildings.
Uses: Depending on how versitile it is, could replace half or most worker fleets that currently plague RP's like Sotdrp.
Jump jets: Terran reapers can jump up onto cliffs with this ability.
Uses: Replaces wc3's standard improvision of blink as a jump ability, would also be neat in a tower war, watching all of the units jump jet down to go through your maze.
Protoss warping: The warp prism can allow units to warp across the battefield.
Uses: Could be useful in a game where capturing warp rays allow for check points, among other things.
Lifting off buildings: The terran can lift off buildings in order to move them around.
Uses: Could be useful in tower defenses or tower wars in order to allow the player to move around their towers without selling them.
Nullifier shielding: The protoss nullifier can make temporary shields to block units.
Uses: This screams to be used in some sort of tag.
Well, thats all i can think of for now... What do you say?
