SC2 doesn't have as big community as the WC3s so its really expected that SC2 resources aren't that active. Usually, there's less than 100 SC2 resource in the communities so I guess there's not much people that is really interested in making some resources or some just find it too hard I guess.

I'm not a SC2 modder myself so there's a big chance i'm wrong.

and for your map, I guess SC2 Resources should be the place since its just mixed.

So much nonsense in one post...

SC2's community has been growing largely over the past years and where is WC3 community? Only in THW? War3's been decreasing...

of course if you compare the resources released for a 11 year old game with so poor poly models and much more complex models for a game less than 3 years old with only recently released Art tools, then 'I wonder why so fewer models'.

Also you are using THW as a criteria for SC2 resources?

OP: I can suggest checking another database...

http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/?category=3d-models
http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/warcraft-footman-model/
http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/ghostnovas-mods/images/

too bad some still come to THW for SC2, it's pointless - leaves the impression that this is some abandonded game, when it is just the opposite. Then some say 'SC2 is already dead' - how come - by THW's standard? Go out of the mouse hole called THW and see what's outside.

The coolness that comes out of those models there are uncomparable with the best models made here for war3...

Also to Doctor Super Good who says:

Only kids who like messing around with the editor.

What do you expect? Super Duper Campaign of the LULZ like War3 does? Firstly there are some (usually Broodar campaign), secondly - a whole campaign?

Campaigns and such projects are pointless.. You waste so much time making that and something that will not be played more than once...

Because face it RPGs and such get boring after once-twice, Dota succeeds with competitiveness, competitiveness or the VS others is what makes the map be played over and over, not some boring campaign where you waste the entire time making all and then someone barely plays it...

Campaigns and Projects inefficient. Must focus on Single Maps played by many (like Barcraft, Aeon of Strifes).

Someone is just saying his/her opinion but you acted with force and anger. You should stop that attitude, really and no offense. I know you have also the rights to voice but indirectly attacking someone is a bit off and putting a user that is not really involve in a comment is just disrespectful.

I think someone is trying to cause drama here.

I am not attacking someone, Im correcting him, my critics are more to the site because it's misleading - people see 'starcraft' but there is barely any. Better indeed go with other communities. There is a lot of stuff there, here it's bringing wrong impression.

And if DrSuper Good came over to SC2Mapster, that would be even better, or is he worried that he would be overshadowed by others who know a lot.

No... I do not even play custom campaigns.

I expect fun-ish cooperative maps such as Hero Defences that are not entirely broken or have pathetic gameplay. I know some do exist, but most have rather shallow content (only a few heroes to choose from, or no levelling system).

So far the map with the most effort put into it seems to be Undead Assault 3. Even that has blatant flaws with fairness and easily fixable bugs.

Because face it RPGs and such get boring after once-twice, Dota succeeds with competitiveness, competitiveness or the VS others is what makes the map be played over and over, not some boring campaign where you waste the entire time making all and then someone barely plays it...
Except if you want to play an AoS you can just play one of the many full AoS games with far more content than any SC2 mapper could put in. DotA 2, LoL and HoN all have proper dedicated development teams, something that a SC2 map cannot compete with. Even Blizzard Allstars will soon join the ranks of competing dedicated AoS games.

That is if you even want competitive play. I do not want to play competitive maps.

Hive currently doesn't have any SCII moderator.
Yeh that was because he got fired for some reason.

Like sc2mapster that have more than 2000 maps.
Except how many of them are finished beyond alpha stage?

And if DrSuper Good came over to SC2Mapster, that would be even better, or is he worried that he would be overshadowed by others who know a lot.
Actually I am more concerned about the confusion it would create. Multi-account policies may be an issue (if they are anything like here) and it is not something I want to inflict on another respectable person who already uses SC2Mapster.
