Well with the launch of SC2 it looks like I will be ditching the game I'mmaking for War3 and doing it in the Galaxy Editor instead. One problem is the theme - it is a fantasy theme and SC2 has no fantasy unit models. So I am taking the opportunity to try some independent learning of computer modelling. I downloaded Blender and will get 3DS when the school year starts so I am just looking for a website that has some basic modelling tutorials for total beginners (I know absolute basics like boolean operations and solids, not too much about meshes) I have some experience in the modelling program Form-Z.

I have no background in animation, bones, attachments. Just static modelling - like digital clay.

thanks in advance for references
