3D Studio 9 - I want to hide some meshes in animations

How can I hide meshes some animations? Without moving the bones to the underground, of course.
Also lights, how may I hide omnilights in animations?

Add the object you want to hide a Visibility Modifier and set its controller to linear. Then set keys ranging 0 to 1, when 0 means no visibility and 1 means full visibility.

But, still a little doubt.
I won't mess up the meshes hiding them in the timeline?
Or I should hide the bones?

hmm, that's the problem, try using it only on meshes, else Edit the MDL at the end.

For hiding you can merely change the object properties visibility to 0 on 1 frame, and 1.0 on the next.

Every button in 3ds max is animatable - any value. That is one way to do it.
