1h + shield zerker: Where did the idea go?

So I was simply wondering: Is it even possible to be effective as a 1h + shield zerk at this point?

Seems to me that he is lacking a chest piece for it. Not to mention spells.

Honestly tho wait for new skills and talents. The fact that backhand can be used with 1h weapons partially means that the idea isnt completely ditched

ye I think it will be very interesting to see a more varied zerker along with a single target poison dps druid or something.

not too sold on the idea on dps druids. im more for more and better utility since at the moment bishops already have great utility and can heal a lot better than druids.
