Why are there posts dated 1970 ?

Warcraft I was not even around in 1970.

(I believe) that is a bug that developed long ago over at Darky's. He changed servers several times and his registration date records were corrupted. When the forum merge took place, all the records of imported users were saved here: hence many accounts show such oddities.

If any active user thinks that their record is inaccurate, please send me a PM.

It is import or hive problems as some of those posts (if not all) are Hive posts, Taxidermist is a hive member, not a wc3search member.

That's probably due to a blank timestamp for the post in the database. (When a timestamp is blank or 0, it corresponds to January 1, 1970 which is the Unix epoch)
