[Custom 4vs4] †Dawn Burst†
Dawn Burst is a 4vs4 melee map that is a struggle for resources, with a twist.
-Introduction-
Dawn Burst is a melee 4vs4 map with a twist. That twist is the fact that the starting areas are heavily protected with siege tanks, missile turrets, and radars. However, these gaurdians are solar powered. Night and day come every 5 minutes and will turn on or off the bases' gaurdians. Because the bases are within such urban areas, the resources within it are scarce. The mineral fields are nearly depleted, and the vespene geysers are worn. Expanding early it required to make it the long run, as waiting will soon become a mistake.
-Resources-
-Night and Day Cycle-
The starting areas, however, are protected by solar-powered Siege Tanks and Missile Turrets.
Dawn and Dusk appear every 5 minutes, and when Dusk appears, the gaurdians shut off - allowing easy attacks for the unaware.
Dawn, however, turns on the gaurdians, providing Xel'Naga towers, Radars, anti ground, and anti air units.
-Terrain Differences-
The bottom of the map's central-area is covered with line of sight blockers, pillars, and contains a rich-mineral field with large quanities.
The top of the map's central-area is near barren, but contains four vespene geysers within a ditch.
Both these areas have advantages and disadvantages, and both provide either a large supply of Minerals or Vespene.

FUTURE UPDATES
-Update Terrain with better blending
-Add Destructible Rocks pathways for rushes.
-Balance? Might be needed
-More to come
This is a BETA version.
My character code on SC2 is 570, if you wish to do some testing or wish to help etc.
I am looking for feedback, and will greatly appreaciate any testing. The AI will work, but strangely. Thank you.

-Resources-
This map is surrounded with large piles of resources, but they are in very low quanities, usually consisting of 400-700 minerals and about 800-1250 vespene.
The center, however, is in high proximity of these resources, usually around 1250-2500 minerals and 2500-5000 vespene.
