Old Villagers Re-Reforged



OLD VILLAGERS RE-REFORGED

Custom rendition of Old villagers, useful for any RPG map or as random citizens. The model was fully developed by myself for Warcraft 3 Re-Reforged. When using this model, it'd be great if you linked or credited @InsaneMonster's project as well.

INSTALLATION
The model is imported following the same method as any other model.
  • Import the .mdx main file to your map using the Asset Manager at the path: oldguy.mdx, oldguy2.mdx, oldguy3.mdx, oldguy4.mdx and oldguy5.mdx .
  • Import the .mdx portrait file to your map using the Asset Manager at the paths: oldguy_portrait.mdx, oldguy2_portrait.mdx, oldguy3_portrait.mdx, oldguy4_portrait.mdx and oldguy5_portrait.mdx.
  • Import the textures to your map using the Asset Manager at the paths: oldguy_diffuse.dds, oldguy2_diffuse.dds, oldguy_diffuse.dds, oldguy_diffuse.dds and oldguy_diffuse.dds.


  • IMPORTANT: Every model SHARES, and needs, the normal: oldguy_normal.dds.

Approved. Previously mentioned issues are addressed and the model works as intended!
The only thing missing is that there are teenage models and that's it, excellent work.

this can be made to a (noble) teenager if you "simplify" it like removing the fancy parts
 
I am actually glad there are old people villagers too in which they could be old wise people, and even a old mayor to a small hamlet and such would be very useful...

Apperciate the time and effort you guys/girls put in these models too...
 
Absolutely awesome and very useful RP or campaign map models.
As with other villager models, you got very good clothing textures, not to mention all the nice anims.

Fix those 2 small issues and I can approve:
  • Cape/hoodie in death anim is fully visible, but turns invisible for a brief period in "Decay Flesh" anim, making it blink when he dies.
  • "Staff" bone has the usual Hermite movement issues, but only at the end of "Death" anim, so it glides around (not too critical imo, but maybe you can try to fix it)

Now we have a hundred different human models but still only 2 zombies. Can undead get some love too? :D
