Warcraft 3 Re-Reforged

Warcraft 3 Re-Reforged is a reimagining of the Warcraft 3: Reforged Blizzard campaigns in the way they were supposed to be made when the game was originally announced. Each campaign is a unique work of art, faithful to the original spirit but yet a completely new and modernized experience, featurings actually reforged in-game cinematics, reimagined missions and maps, expanded and detailed lore and so much more!

Pushing an update to the Scourge of Lordaeron to fix checkpoint being broken.
Note: I was using the action save game and not save checkpoint in Chapter 1 for some reason. Again for some reason, this was freezing the game since the game could not recognize when the file was actually saved.

  • Updated Mission 01 (The Defense of Stranhbrad) [v1.6]:
    • Fixed an issue causing a freeze when a checkpoint was saved.

Warcraft 3 Re-Reforged: Exodus of the Horde
Changelog (05/08/2026)
General changes:
  • Fixed Rune of Protection and Rune of the Beast not spawning the intended ability
  • Enabled checkpoints by default (Blizzard says it fixed it all, so maybe, we can trust?)
Mission changes:
  • Updated Mission 04 (The Fires Down Below) [v2.1]:
    • Fixed a rare issue that might cause some ambushes to not spawn while exploring the caves


Warcraft 3 Re-Reforged: The Scourge of Lordaeron

  • Enabled checkpoints by default (Blizzard says it fixed it all, so maybe, we can trust?)
Mission changes:
  • Updated Mission 04 (The Cult of the Damned) [v1.6]:
    • Fixed a rare leak cleaning race condition which could cause random unit groups in the map to not work anymore
  • Updated Mission 02 (Blackrock and Roll) [v1.6]:
    • Fixed an issue where the Ritual timer was not paused when intended. This should give the player a bit more room to breathe.


Warcraft 3 Re-Reforged: Path of the Damned

General changes:
  • Finalized both locales in spanish and the german locale
  • Weakened a bit the Hawkstriders, specifically a bit less damage and health overall since they are so fast
  • Fixed many small bugs and typos, localizations included
  • Enabled checkpoints by default (Blizzard says it fixed it all, so maybe, we can trust?)
Mission changes:
  • Updated Mission 05 (The Fall of Silvermoon) [v1.1]
    • Weakened a bit Farstriders' base defenses during first portion of the map
    • Added a bit more gold on starting gold mines during first portion of the map
    • Added a bit more dispel items drops
    • Added an Abomination and a Spirit Tower at the beginning to ease out the starting portion of the map
    • Gold is now dropped by waves attacking the control point, if heroes are close, to help you push back
    • Heroes can now be revived at an altar during Silvermoon siege
    • Rebalanced gold income during Silvermoon siege
    • Increased the amount of Glyphs of Reinforcements the player can find during Silvermoon siege
    • Rebalanced the position in which the player can find Glyphs of Avarice
    • Made sure Thalorien cannot spawn inside a wall
    • Fixed wrong Bel'ovir portrait during an in-game transmission
    • Changed model size of gold coins in Silvermoon siege to distinguish different awarded values
    • Increased Sylvanas revive time during the first portion of the map
  • Updated Mission 04 (The Key of the Three Moons) [v1.1]
    • Added Magister attacks (same Magister of Mission 05) to the base by teleportation while the Corpse Bridge is being built. This spices up the gameplay and gives additional corpses to make the raising of the bridge more dynamic
    • Rebalanced attack waves during first section to take the new Magister's attack into account
    • Weakened a bit Farstriders' base defenses during second section
    • Added a bit more gold on starting gold mine during first section
    • Added a bit more dispel items drops
  • Updated Mission 03 (Into the Realm Eternal) [v1.1]
    • Weakened a bit Farstriders' base defenses
    • Added a bit more gold on starting gold mines
    • Added a bit more dispel items drops
  • Updated Mission 02 (Digging Up The Dead) [v1.2]
    • Finally fixed Paladins AI, now they can no longer be pulled away from their base erroneusly


Note: the Undead campaign update requires to download a new version of the Warcraft 3 Re-Reforged Installer
