My primary mistake here has been one of haste; if I recall, I was at work & running out of time, so I merely copypasta-ed the message I left with a few other users & called it a day. In so doing I have not only made factual errors, but didn't apply the proper tone. For that, I apologize.

    Thanks for the lesson in what an avatar represents, I had no idea. Here's a tip, next time you want to get your way and come to ask someone of something, don't treat them like they are morons. Had you come to me with a tinge of sensitivity I would actually consider it.

    I am sorry if you felt my "avatar: why" bit was rude or condescending; I can assure you I meant none such. I was quite literally asking, matter-of-factly, as to why you chose this Avatar (because I feel communication & fostering understanding would help me... well, understand where you are coming from).

    Unfortunately, like I said, I did some copy/pasta-ing, and that last bit in particular came from when I was talking to Forsaken (a relatively new user) and then to Solu9 (not exactly 'new' but younger than me, and I felt a greater need to explain). For you, that level of "explanation" probably did sound incredibly presumptuous or condescending; again, I apologize.

    ...and my reasoning for displaying such an avatar is none of anyone's business. I don't see why you are crusading against passionate displays of love in an avatar. It's an avatar on a video game modding site. No one here is running for president or trying to win the hearts of a bunch of rightwing bible thumpers.

    I don't know about presidents or "rightwing bible thumpers". I'm just shocked and a little disgusted by the choice of avatars/signatures among a variety of users. If you don't want to share your reasoning, then so be it (though I'll admit, I hate to see people 'clam up' and would still love to hear why). However, I'd say the same thing: "it's an avatar on a video game modding site". It's not meant to be the place for this big statement (if users are doing this for activism), nor for puerile annoyance (if users are doing this for trolling) or, I would submit, any other reason not mentioned.

    It's not the end of the world, but it has made me and several other users uncomfortable, and ultimately is a matter of regulations. Why not allow anything on this site? Why not pornography, or depictions of brutality, or anything else? Honestly, I have my own thoughts as to why that is, but the real reason would have to come from Ralle, I suppose. My point is, the rules are there, and it's important enough to me that I'm willing to make a case that these sort of avatars are, indeed, bending/breaking those rules unnecessarily.

    (My bit about the hetero-/homo-sexual comparisons was merely an attempt to forestall any rebuttal of "well you're just being homophobic" or "wake up and smell 2014" (<- gotten that before...). Again, may not apply to you (since I did not know your reasoning as of yet), but I figured it would be wise to lay some groundwork)

    I am sorry to hear that. I hope my attempts at reconciliation will be met with good favor. Or at least a second thought. I never intended to rile people up or cause contention, and I like to think that, aside from some miscommunications, I have avoided a lot of the obvious faux pas' of many others (yelling, ad hominem attacks, blatant rudeness, namecalling, etc). I don't want to have to report anyone, though it may come to that. I hope we can work past our differences and build upon our similarities (heck, apparently we both love Trolls. :p).

    Traxamillion, could you please consider changing your Avatar? It's inappropriate, seeing two women kissing like that (primarily due to the depth of the passion evidenced in the kiss, and the lack of clothing apparent on the bodies, but yes, also due to the depiction of a homosexual act (However, to be honest, I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with a hetero couple kissing like that on an avatar here at THW)).

    This isn't about hate or intolerance. It's simply a matter of rules & standards. I have done the same thing for many other people (most recently Forsaken, and his weren't even hetero-/homo-sexual, simply sensual/suggestive women), asking them to change an avatar/signature that I felt didn't fit them or this site.

Many people choose images that are 'cool', or 'funny' or 'awexome' or 'thought-provoking' or 'indicative of their nature/qualities'. Does this avatar serve as a manifestation of you, an accurate representation?

    Well I do have Program Filesx86...
    Then I have Warcraft III, in there and there is a Campaign Folder for Custom Campaigns and there is a folder for the melee maps that Blizzard made.
