I haven't quite had the time to read it yet. But, it has a ton of pics, which is always good. Plus, they are animated, which is double good. Also, from the little I have read, it looks quite detailed in a simplicit sort of way. Very good!
Dude I tried everything, the leg was screwed yes, but I can't make the arm work right. I tried EVERYTHING, nuthin. The IK script screws the left arm even if I create one new. In this file the arm isn't not cloned and even less mirrored. But still doesn't work. Surprisingly, the right arm will always work, even created new. http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/pastebin.php?id=9va0j1
The river system was actually put on hold because people were screaming for an early release, but it's in the game as of 1.50 (a few days ago). As for the other systems, we're still looking for ways to make the game more unique (one of the planned implementations is slowing cavalry on mountains), so suggestions are appreciated!
I'm also planning on taking an idea from Shogun in that barrackses/etc located beside a creep town are captured the first time the town is.
EDIT: Here's 1.60 for reference.

Whell ..; we both know i can't animate for shit and you animate way better so ... I was wondering if you could animate some meshes I made. You can also ask me to make some meshes. I don't really care but I always regret making a mesh that never gets animated because i put all my time in the making of the mesh for nothing.
Worry not, real life is always a priority ^^ I was just wondering if you had forgotten/had no time. Take your time (or if it is easier, perhaps point me to some other easy to use wc3 FK animation tutorials for later versions of 3dsmax.)
