Well, usually any texture you use will just be replaced by the team glow texture. I was hoping for a way to make TC smoke stuff.

Yes, the theme is "whatever you want it to be". I wanted to get a wider range of people, cuz if I had put a theme and they didn't like it, they wouldn't participate. If I don't put a theme they can draw whatever they want... but since everybody's been asking me that, I guess I should really give it a theme -.- if you guys so much want it wuwz. And it's not about the theme, it's about the contest. It's about doing something, no matter on what theme... At least in Art forums it's like that I wanted to bring a little from that here I guess. Cuz I love THW and I want to see it's Art Community progressing just as all other communities in it, like programming, modelling, mapping.

I know that there will be no awards (except me repping everyone D: and the winner some more times) and the picking new theme.. what about it :?

For me, it would kinda remove the silhouette of the SlaughterHouse. If anything, your idea of a tower with a rotating structure (centrifuge) fits my Laboratory idea instead.

Rework the model how? Are you talking about reverting it back to the previous version as Hawking said it was acceptable? I'm fine with that. I'll just attach the current version as the original version's "portrait" and let people decide which of the two they want to choose.

Well, I was starting to overuse some models before you asked me too alter my later models. As much as I want my models to get approved as long as they're functional, you did give me the push to rewrap other models or make changes to overused ones. I do put more weight into your suggestions than others.

Sorry for double posting but I thought that if I edited my post and you had already read it you might not see it: what i mean is like to make it like the mini contests but not bother mods with it and make it Better-Functional and faster. With a few changes. Do you think the moderators will accept this :? Shall I even bother them with that or not?

Hello Misha, I wanted to ask you about Hosting a Contest.. is it possible that I could start a contest about, say, Texturing (or Icons), giving a theme and an idea of how to do it? Because we haven't had Art Contests from some time and there aren't any judges for that.. in fact, the last ones weren't even Judged. So I was thinking of a new system, maybe, maybe we could host an art contest every week/month and there won't be any judges, people will just vote for who they think must win and it will be fast and easy, and it won't bother anyone. The winner will choose the theme for the next week's challenge so that there won't be argues about that. If the majority dislikes the theme it can be changed. There won't be rewards for those contests, since I wouldn't want people to fight for something, they will just do it for fun, not for the prize. And also, if they are hosted often, rewards will not be possible since THW will become overflood with rewarded with some badges and such people. Maybe some rep for the first places or something could do.

In one art forum they use this system and so far I gotta say that it works brilliantly, it's fast and enjoyable. The only one who has to take care of it, is the host who just has to close the Weekly Challenges and open the new ones and such (not much of a work, I could take it if I'm allowed to start this). I just wanted to see what your opinion as a moderator is about that and also ask you who (except the art Moderators whom I will talk later to) I must ask about this. If I'm not allowed to do this, do you think it would be possible to start it as an Off-Topic or something?

Hey, Misha. About the infernal Arc.... Can i take a geoset from a wow model ( then change or edit the geoset*) is it still count that i create it? if it's not legit then make i find another way.
Btw, I'm not copy the whole model. only necessary geoset then change it.

Heya! Glad you asked, though I'm a little sad... Unfortunately, not really. :< I have a buncha ideas & even some art & stuff, but not really for Bows in particular. (To be honest, I've never really been a fan of Trolls & Bows; it always seemed like they would stick to Spears & (Poison) Darts & Slings and Blades and stuff... Bows always seemed like "Elf" territory, and Trolls, wanting to avoid all things Elfish, would shy away. Made 'em unique.

Anyway, this is all I could find in a short time... Surprisingly little. I'll give it some more thought and get back to you.

For the model you're working on, well, I'm really at the basics of modeling, so I can't help you with alpha/filter modeling textures, or how they're called, but I know you'll think up something neat

I only need texturing it, and it could be more than 70%.
And I'm sucks at texturing.

Requests are little elemental pets, standing still, but waving gently (like on wind), that have fixed xyz, and when attached to origin of a unit, seem to follow the unit.

Ever played Diablo II? Maybe something like one of those shields only Necromancer could wear, Preserved Head, Imp Head, Gargoyle Head, ...?
A blood layer could do, but I'm worried that it won't be visible enough.
