You're very lucky that your file didn't get corrupted after all those things, I just remember that a few months back, my map got corrupted just because my pc hang when saving the map. >:C

Yes it is, Rui had updated the rules and there are many maps that are using World of Warcraft models already.

As for the voice acting, I will try to get something soon, but don't count on it. It really depends on when I am purchasing a new mic and when I get the time.

Hi. Saw ur post on the Seth's Reign. That's really is very lucky! Wish I'm that lucky as well. I did face that problem be4. There's a power cut for a few sec, then a map I'm working on wasn't saved. So I have to redo whatever I did on that day. D: Anyway, regarding your sig, I think you should use this picture link instead. It have a smoother border. =)

Well, can't tell you for sure, the reason being that I'm quite often out of town (and not knowing what amount of lines you've got). But I guess we can try - for now, and I'll definitely try not to stop you down.

You can use placeholders for the lines which are not ready yet and then just switch the files when we're ready, eh? I guess there'll be a smaller chance of slowing you down this way.

Define "weeks". I don't have a good microphone around right now (not in Glasgow till September, but can borrow from a friend). I'll take the lines from the trailer, and you'll get a pretty bad quality recording from me tonight (if you drop me a PM with your e-mail). At least you'll be able to hear my voice and acting.

No no, there is background noise, as if the microphone's filter is scratched or something. It's the microphone most probably. It's not my first time recording, I would also have thought of the amplitude, if it was that easy to figure

Apparently it doesn't sound perfect. Well, my microphone must be having a problem (it's probably my friend's fault or my sister's laptop port) and it has a lot of noise, while my voice is hardly heard. I am not sure what I am gonna do, as I tried everything I could to resolve the problem. I don't have any access to another pc with no crowd around.

I've run into that problem a few times, I think it's caused by either re-naming a skin with the wrong extension (like importing a .tga and a .blp), importing a skin before deleting the one you plan on replacing it with, or world editor is just being really stubborn and you need to re-start it.

Sorry it's taking me so long to respond to this, hope that helps if you didn't solve the issue already

Have you seen any other map in the Map Development ?
Some of them sure sounds promising, but hey, the more promising it is, the pressure you will be, trust me.
But if you think at the positive side, it would be amazing if we get the chance to finish the "epic" map we created like 4 months.

Also, I think you need a team, that will keep you motivated because if you work alone, you have no one to discuss with, and if you have problem, you can't share it with the teams to further inspect the said problems with the map, get a team !

Oh, and feel free to send me more text or whatever to proof read when it's ready (i can fix text faster than i can voice act, so even if i don't have the time to do the voice acting i can still do some text revisions).
