And honestly, dunno about the theme..
It kinda narrows it down to detective / horror maps.
The puzzle+mystery theme that is.
Erebus has finally been updated, it now boasts a custom UI designed specifically for it. Check out the game, rate it, and if you believe it to be worthy of approval notify one of the map mods that it's time for Erebus to be approved.
Okay here's what I need:
- The arena part itself can stay the same
- Instead of using a 'cliff' I want the edge of the arena to be plain trees
- A circle for hero taverns in that forest on the bottom right
I prefer trees over a solid edge, knockbacking people through lines of trees and adding blink abilities will enhance gameplay!
Mh, I'm not talking about easier or harder. The point is, it was impossible.
We played several rounds with different strategies, every round the lamps gone down.
Hmm can I send you a version of the map so you can make a tavern location on the bottom right corner of the map?!
Oh and I made a hero creating aid in excel, that shows how many hp/mp/hp reg/mana reg/attackspeed and armor a hero would have with given str/int/agi and str/int/agi gains..
Hehe but it isn't a ring, in fact we chose to have 1 entrance/exit at the bases, so teams meet eachother head on before venturing further down the map where the relic shop and runes/tomes are!
Well the terrain I showed you is kinda put on a hold, but I do hope to create more than enough new modes in AT2, like carrying resources to the base in order to create structures to have a AOS-style endgame.
Okay, i think i will make a new terrain from blank myself and then correct it as time goes, thank you anyway i will get some inspiration from your work.
hey kino i would like to make some improvements and changes in the terrain if you still are willing to do that, i need a more "corrupted look" and another "emerald dream" look, that means you get to divide the 8 arenas into 2 halfs of the map one half will be Ashenvale/Felwood another one will be the Emerald Dream(basicly Ashenvale but with dreamstuff). What do you say?
