Hi,
Thank you for the nice things, rating and the good ideas about my map. ) I will add more ideas and good items with recipe. Then it will be really an altered melee map.
Oh, i got a great idea: I will even make quests in this map.
Do you want me to help you as a guide?
Fixing it for you is not really the way I meant, I was rather talking about spell requests or overlooking spells.
just download the map attached to the thread
it contains an example on how to use it with GUI
the only thing you have to do is to copy the jass script into the map header
of course you can translate this snippet to GUI but it's an awfull lot of clicking
if you don't know how to make spells you should learn it so you don't have to rely on other people
for the lasers you could use a lightning effect and modify its width with some slk file (there are tutorials for that (and if not @hive search at wc3c))
to move it in a circle you can do something like
set point1 = position of caster
set point 2 = point 1 offset by <radius> towards x degrees
move some_lightning from point1 to point2
and increase x every 0.03 sec by some value which looks good
to damage the units hit by the lightning you will need some function to check if a unit is on a line
that's what I am thinking about right now
will send the formular to you
Well, for MUI, ask Deuterium, calex3, Kingz.... MPI isw pretty simple, simply make array variables and put in [player number of (triggering unit)]. That's all.
And put that in almost every action like
unit - kill Target[player number of (triggering unit)]
