Factbook of the Pherithian Imperial Army
(May Not Display Well in Smartphones - Present 2205 CE)
Overview
The Pherithian Imperial Army (PIA) utilized combined arms tactics, and some sort of "jack-of-all-trades" arsenal. Both science and magic is utilized in the PIA, however the vast majority usually prefers science over magic but the Elvenhood of Flardyrn.
Ghee Hin Order is the leading subfaction, balanced in almost all aspects of military. However, their infantries are the toughest and brilliant within the PIA, due to them mixing parts of their traditional Triad/Mafia doctrine with the use of futuristic weapons and advanced strategy (not to mention some magics).
On the other hand, the Elvenhood of Flardyrn is widely known for their insidious tactics as well as their extensive use of magics. Flardyrn is infamous for utilizing unethical technologies and dark magics besides the arcane magics we see everyday. They are the pioneers in the field of magics and stealth. Azlariah's foes were horrified especially by the ghastly sight of her favored pets -- the Faceless Ones, as well as their sudden stealth ambush...
While the equally fearsome Rocksoul Clan crushes their foes with rains of overwhelming projectiles and super heavy tanks. Not only the Rocksoul orcs are known for their ruthlessness, but they are also infamous for their nuclear arsenal.
NOTICE:
Due to the inflation and poverty spreading all over the Pherithian nation, all military costs (unit production, structure production, etc.) are now doubled!!! And certain fancy technologies are now disabled!!!
However, with the sudden withdrawal of the Pazis and the reclaiming of Bolehland, the

Pherithian Construction Yard
The Pherithian Construction Yard is the most important structure in a Pherithian base. With it, a commander has the capabilities of constructing any Pherithian structures and defenses they see fit. This makes the Construction Yard a high priority target for enemies, and must be defended as such in order to maintain any major presence on the battlefield. A Construction Yard provides a small amount of power as well. In addition, the Construction Yard can repack into a Mobile Construction Vehicle (MCV) at any time. As Pherithian settlements and bases grow, the Pherithian Construction Yard may later be renovated into a Pherithian Stronghold.
Notes :
- Show medium resistance against most attacks.

Pherithian Stronghold
In large and well-defended settlements, the Stronghold replaces the Construction Yard as the commerce and military center. Within the Stronghold lies some smaller Mineral Purifiers, and the artisans who dwell here have mastered means of better refining minerals, thus increasing the yield of mining operations. The Stronghold is shielded by layers of high granite walls, making it hard to destroy. It also houses several research labs, allowing for more advanced technologies and magics to be deployed.
Due to the vast numbers of facilities and heavy armors, the Pherithian Stronghold may no longer be repacked into a vehicle, unlike the Pherithian Construction Yards.

Plasma Generator
The Plasma Generator is a compact structure which generates a continuous flow of plasma energies and uses it to produce power for Pherithian bases. After an Academy of Insight is constructed, the Plasma Generator can be upgraded with more efficient magitech turbines, increasing the output of a single generator.
Power output is directly related to the Plasma Generator's condition, so they must be protected from enemy fire.
Notes :
- For regular Plasma Generators, $4 (real price 10,350 PM) of hitpoint is worth 1 power unit.
- Can be upgraded for $200, adding +120 power units.

Gate
Automatic gates are simple barrier used to keep enemies out while still allowing friendly units to pass by defenses. Great for keeping spies from getting into your base too easily, but don't rely on them too much. Gates proved to be a nuisance for small raider parties intent on destroying vulnerable structures such as Power plants, as they could not penetrate the armour well enough. However, this armour was no match for medium and large-sized armies, and they would quickly crumble under continuous barrages of enemy fire.

Laser Turret
The self-powered Laser Turret is the basic defensive structure of the Pherithian Imperial Army. Powered by an internal capacitor, it will always remains active even if the power grid goes down. The Laser Turrets can also retract and hide underground, and be popped up later. Due to its relative simplicity, large numbers of laser turrets are often deployed to defend Pherithian bases.

SAM Site
The Surface-to-Air Missile Site is a basic turret used by the Pherithian forces to fend off incoming aerial hostiles. The missiles are guaranteed to hit their mark, and are the most powerful anti-aircraft defenses when it comes to damage per shot. The Elvenhood of Flardyrn uses the Belore'merai (Singular: Thash'belore Meria), or Solar Cannons in the Thalassian tongue, instead.

Gun Turret
The Turret is a tank-turret like stationary defensive structure, using standard armor piercing rounds to punch through enemy armor better than the Laser Turret. In addition, the rounds also deal splash damage and the Gun Turret consumes lesser power units compared to the Laser Turret. However, the Gun Turret is inadequate at defending itself against infantry threats or deal with faster moving vehicles.

Prism Fence
The Prism Fence is the Pherith Empire's advanced re-envisioning of simple walls. Basing on their signature Prism technology, the "fence" was essentially a network of highly effective pylons, which were capable of creating an impassable laser barrier between them, denying access to the interior of the Nod compound. It is virtually indestructible with the posts that generate prism links being the only vulnerable points, but the weakly armoured nodes and massive power requirements of the network were a significant drawback of the technology.

Prism Tower
The Prism Tower is the advanced defense for the Pherithians. Using an array of focusing mirrors, the Prism Tower concentrates light into a powerful ray that pierces through armor, as well as sending infantry into flames. Prism Towers can link up with each other in order to create a highly destructive, armor-shattering blast. This makes the Prism Tower an ideal defense to use in groups.
NOTES:
- Prism Towers can support each other with 20% firepower increase.
- Prism Tower support works between towers of battle allies.

Obelisk of Light
The Obelisk of Light is a shining example of military applications of LASER technology.
The idea of the Obelisk of Light was brought up several decades ago, during the outbreak of the New World Order. Born out of the need for a powerful defensive mechanism for Nod military bases, the Obelisk is quite possibly the most powerful laser weapon in recorded history. Since the downfall of Kane, the blueprints were retrieved by the Pherithians to make their own Obelisks of Light. Its mode of operation remained basically the same throughout the wars - massive capacitors underneath the structure amass power, which is then used to create a powerful laser beam, directed against enemies via a system of advanced optical and focusing systems. Obviously, it requires massive amounts of power to function.

Obelisk of Darkness
The Obelisk of Darkness is a gigantic tower, and although tall, had a narrow base. Unlike regular Obelisks of Light which curve towards the ground, the Obelisk of Darkness points straight up, resembling the very first generation of the Obelisks of Light. This is a feature presumably related to its anti-aircraft abilities. It is armed with a single laser beam, but its systems had been heavily modified so that it could shoot down aircraft. The Pherithians appeared to have overcome the atmospheric spectrum difficulties that prevented the Obelisks of Light from firing upwards. It is believed that this weapon could fire through a Firestorm wall.
Compared to a regular Obelisk, the Obelisk of Darkness was distinguished by its extremely powerful anti-aircraft attack, sufficient to destroy an Ocean Jet and Kirov Airship in a single blast, and its heavy armor is enough to withstand most punishments. However, its inability to fire at any ground target rendered it helpless against most land attacks.

Ghee Hin Order
Elvenhood of Flardyrn
Rocksoul Clan
Mafiosi Guild
Back in the olden days (yes, even before Eric Calderon began his Tavern Putsch and Pazi Uprisings), Ghee Hin used to be a secret society in Malaya. During Chin Ah Yam's era, the triad was notorious for their thuggishness and their involvement in the Larut wars. Even after the Larut wars, Ghee Hin continued to be a problem for the British colonial rulers. During the war in Malaya, some of these crafty Ghee Hin guys managed to assassinate some Japanese invaders.........
Now, under the guidance of Deroc, this triad organization has reformed into an Order and rose to prominence as a regional force to be reckoned with. The newly reformed Ghee Hin Order took over most of Southeast Asia, and crushed many of Kane's shadowspawns and fanatics as they foolishly invaded the Ghee Hin lands. Despite being the leading subfaction of Pherith Empire, the Ghee Hin Order retained parts of their old mafia traditions and tactics. Trained in the ways of martial arts, tactics of modern warfare and arts of magics, these noble gangsters made excellent warriors and spies. They were feared by many and would be a massive headache to the foes. |

Temple of Deroc
The mighty Temple of Deroc is the center of large Ghee Hin settlements, serving as their command hub. The Temple is shielded by layers of fortified walls made with the finest materials, rendering them virtually indestructible. The Temple represents the strength of the Pherithian people and the spirit of the Ghee Hin Order. It also acts as the Order's advanced research lab, allowing application of advanced technologies and magics.
After collecting enough energies from the surroundings, the Temple of Deroc can instantly deploy a group of seven Enhanced Prism Towers anywhere for a moment, being more powerful than the regular Prism Towers and provide healing auras to friendly units nearby. The Temple also acts as control point for Hunter-Seeker droids. |

Belore'meria (Plural: Belore'merai)
The Belore'meria (Plural: Belore'merai), or Solar Cannon in the Thalassian tongue, is the Elvenhood of Flardyrn's principle anti-aircraft defense, replacing the standard Surface-to-Air Missile Site. Firing a solar-beam that rapidly incinerates metal, the Belore'meria can quickly turn enemy aircrafts into ashes. Though the Belore'meria is costly, its sheer firepower and accuracy more than compensates for the heavy price and power consumption.

The gigantic Prism Pyramid is perhaps one of the most feared of Azlariah's toys, second only to the eldritch Forgotten Ones. Enhanced with the Flardyrn's signature Belore magics as well as the Faceless One's dark powers, these Prism Pyramids are able to roast entire battalions of armors with their solar prism rays or twilight rays in a short time, without breaking a sweat. In the event that the power grid is down, the Prism Pyramids are able to utilize the sunlight and darkness to keep themselves running. As with the lesser Prism Towers, these pyramids unfortunately cannot target aerial foes.

Protected by the finest obsidian rocks and alphanites, the Citadel is all but impervious to the attacks of the pitiful foes foolish enough to stand against Azlariah's will. This enormous building houses many of Azlariah's best battlemages and templars. Within the Citadel, the Flardyrn battlemages diligently study their arts of magic and refine their skills of combat. Magisters and scientists of Flardyrn will sneakingly congregate at the dark, secretive basements of this edifice, where they would develop devious technologies and insidious spells for the Elvenhood. The Citadel also serves as a dwelling for the horrific and feared Faceless Ones, eldritch creatures who answer only to their beloved mistress Azlariah.

Pherithian Command Fortress
The ultimate, portable command center and construction yard reserved as a gift for the finest and best Pherithian Imperial commanders. This edifice is much larger than the Pherithian Stronghold, not only serving as the traditional construction yard but also housing various facilities including radars, jammers, labs and garages. However unlike the Pherithian Stronghold, the Command Fortress may be packed again at will into the Mega Command Vehicle.
Over time, a superb commander's Pherithian Command Fortress can be further personalized to suit his or her own needs, as well as to unlock personal special units and experimental units exclusive to him or her. If the commander's Mega Command Vehicle or Command Fortress is destroyed, the commander may either request for another or build his own from scratch. |

Forgotten One
An unfathomable horror to the foes of Flardyrn, these monstrous Forgotten Ones are massive and powerful tentacle-bearing aberrations. The Forgotten Ones can level entire battalions with its sheer powers and tentacles, setting clusters of foes in twilight flames, and they can also bring along other Faceless Ones as well. It would require massive amount of efforts to bring a Forgotten One down, as their thick layers of skin are impervious to the feeble chucks of Azlariah's foes and will regenerate quickly. These creatures are also immune to puny mind tricks and charms, as their loyalty lies only to their beloved Azlariah.
Much to the relief of the enemies, however, these creatures are usually fixed to their initial positions. |
