For me if I have a model for example of the horse and I want 2 animated horses, then I toggle on the Bone_Root or other bones of the horse, select all of the geoset mesh of the horse and also the bones at the same time, and then duplicate (ctrl+D) which will copy the horse and the bones and load new duplicated connected animations for the copy.
It might me more effort if you already put a second horse mesh in a model but it was animationless
Cloned There was a button on matrix eater that copied everything, you need to select everything on the Horse mesh, and Skeleton, then Clone button, then move. rest is work by hand to put the horse into the right position and the skeleton inside the global root for the model.

This is going to sound 10 kinds of lame, but I'm one of those MdlVis cavemen so it's okay-- how do I select the mesh/bones to clone in your Model Studio?
I found the bones in a folder under Model > Nodes: But when I select a horse bone and hit Ctrl + D, the program stutters and nothing happens. I somehow got it to give me an Error, but can't seem to reproduce it.
I'm pretty sure I can't view the bones/geosets through the preview/model window to ctrl + LMB to select them, just rotate and zoom in/out, right?
I have been coming and going and not focused on these messages, but here is a short GIF of me duplicating an animated horse. Is this what you are trying to do, or were you trying to do something more complicated?

You are a legend, that's precisely what I was trying to do!
I ended up copying and fitting the bones by hand, rigging and animating the 2nd horse to move in an offset way (The death animation was a real pain in the neck)
The model should be ready to release in only a few more days, just need to make the rider fall off the chariot with convincing impact and make his arrows appear/disappear with the attack animation
