This bundle is marked as high quality. It exceeds standards and is highly desirable.
No point in keeping it to myself. Was meant for the ongoing texturing contest, but it kinda missed the point so I'll just upload it and maybe try to come up with something else.
Have a Cthulhu.

EDIT: Hey, Dio here! If you enjoy my work, a tip would be most welcome! Even a little helps a lot!

67chrome: Looks pretty cool, I really like the tentacles on his face. The color seems a little bright, I'd personally go with more desaturated tones to make it look more mysterious/see greenish though. The armor style is pretty reminiscent of the existing faceless, which is both a good and bad thing. It fits in pretty well with the other faceless because of this, and I'd imagine works relatively well with any other models using faceless textures. It doesn't look as unique because of this though, but I imagine that's a restriction the texturing contest this is for sort of imposes.

groovy, but is there any option to put rudimentary wings on the guy? as it's described in the book

I'd have to agree with Dio with my faceless one texturing attempts - there just isn't enough space to get wings to look right. Even with trying to have folded ones the angle the chains are on his back just makes them look wrong. Also, the space to work with there is so small it makes any wing attempts look more like impractical kiddy wings than anything baddass, which really detracts from Cthulhu.

There is a pretty good animated evil illidan wing attachment model on the database though, I'm sure that could end up looking pretty cool on this ;)

I tried adding wings at a really early phase, but 1) they hardly looked like wings because half the chain planes go into the model. At most, they looked like fins 2) There just isn't enough space.
aww bummer..

yes, yes! :3
I love his face! But I'm not crazy about this variation of green!
but that's his color :3

Yeah, I realized I didn't put a comment on this one, so have one. The quality is just top notch. Too bad it really doesn't look like a warlord.
