So, I played 1.4.0 with a full house and yeah, beasts are much more powerful. Somehow hunter attack got reduced by nearly 40% and I didn't test it sufficiently with human players.

1.4.1 should balance things out more, and I've added sprint ability as you suggested too! Hope you get a chance to test it.

I am not that strict with rules myself however some of the judges are. So if you dont put your idea into the template you wont be able to enter. I am just making sure that everyone knows. So someone dont come after and are OMG I DIDNT KNOW I HAD TO UPDATE
