For Creator: Last version i played was 2.2 and i really liked the map. im normally the zombie when i play and i normally win. only time i lost was the first time i hosted and turned my only zombie into a cocoon thinking i would get stronger, only to find out you have to research the upgrades, warning would be nice >.>. i would give this at least a 4 but I've yet to try this updated version so maybe it will be 5 material when im done.
For Players: The detail doesn't tell u much about the specifics but its basically this. The zombie spawns in a military complex in the middle of the forest, humans spawn in the city.
The zombie has to kill every player to win and doesn't get additional zombies unless he kills people (basically infecting them). the humans can either defend the town and try to stop the zombie from taking over or they can make a base and try to hold out indefinitely (i found a mix of the two was the best, killing zombies while there is still NPC's to help fight then falling back to the fortress).
Now the zombie gets points for every human and NPC infected which he uses to upgrade giving the zombies more punch, attack faster, poison claws, the ability to spawn a parasite from a killed zombie, and making them able to move faster then a slight crawl (start speed is slow as heck, you can outrun them) just to name a few.
Eventually if the zombies get strong enough they just kill everyone and everything but with a good set of maybe 5 humans u can easily slow down the zombie(maybe even win, never had a good human force oppose me >.<) and a full house of good humans i can see winning pretty easy.
Also note that the item shops can be destroyed by the zombies so defending humanity may be in your interest!
Lastly just like a real zombie outbreak zombies will kill u FAST. your a regular person not a marine and the zombies can 1-2 shot u right off the bat.
That's about it, i think its a great game and so will avid zombie lovers.
