Just finished this for a long time of making and still studying how to animate things... Now here's the product.. my steel tentacle... Update
Added a stand ready animation. Some other updates/edits in the animation.

This is actually my very first unit model made from scratch. Animations are all done in MDLVis. Texturing and scratch modeling are done in GMax. Effects are done in Magos MOdel Editor.
I need these three tools to create this model. Thanks.
