Stairz-In-The-Woodz

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
These 3 destructible model variants are based on the alleged "Stairs in the Woods," where if you find a lone staircase in the middle of the woods, you should never climb up there. According to superstition, one of many bad things can happen if you do. One such example is that you could disappear.
Look up "Stairs in the Woods" in your search engine, and see for yourself.
If on your walk you come across a set of stairs in the woods, then I only pray that you make the right decision and not go up them.

Anyway, I use Blizzard's retail resources from the MPQ. Credits ado to them for the mesh and textures.

Simple but useful models. Two variations have a bit too many polygons.
280 polygons for a simple doodad is a bit too much.
Maybe around 150 should be a good limit, but you'd have to see what looks okay.
General question what's the purpose of limiting polygons in this case? Is 280 really that too much? Sure I understand it's a simple model, but will a difference of 50-100 really make that significant difference with today's computers?

It is not really about performance. It is about how things look compared to the standards wc3 stuff. You cannot stick high poly stuff in with normal classic graphics because it will not look right.

If we were to follow that "standard" logic we would never get the "giga-beautiful" maps that some have produced.

By giga-beautiful I mean maps that have an overall better look than usual Classic style.
