Map Info

This map is playable by two players.

Map Description:Two lovers was living here in the island with peace for five years. Until the monsters attacked the island and killed the two lovers. It was followed by a terrific earthquake that killed the monsters, teared the land appart and formed a new island.

Tactics(For beginners)

  1. First attack and defeat the nearby green camp.
  2. Once you are done try to attack the orange camp nearby once you prepared your troops.
  3. This is your choice now, to head to the Goblin Merchant or, to Goblin Laboratory.
  4. If you picked the Laboratory first, hire a zeppelin then start to find your first expansion.
  5. After you're done, try to harass your enemy now or scout them(If they had an expansion, try to disturb it.)
  6. If you had a lot of army and thinks in your mind that you are now prepared, try to attack the red camp by the golems.
  7. After that, try to go home and prepare your forces once more (If you losed many units in that battle)
  8. Try to defeat your enemy now once you are ready.

So your map looks fine it just needs some improvements here and there such as;

- Needs more tile variation around the golems, such as dirt and rough dirt to make it look less bland.
- More doodads here and there, including golems (so rocks?)
- The tavern is quite hard to get to (Which I have no major problem with) it's more that the island is so skinny and looks ugly

Gameplay wise this map is pretty cool actually, trying to get to the other islands to escape your enemies on the same island, and to get more resources. Also I just realised the island looks almost identical; the small ones that is; so I must congratulate you on that.

So I will give 3/5 for approval, just some minor stuff and I can give your 4/5, and go beyond this and I will give 5/5 :)

Full Review Emerges

Okay played the map, I would like to say that the map was sweet, although I'd like it to be named 'Lovers Island' rather 'Romantic Island' (That's not a request though, just my opinion).

Basically it's a decent map quality, its more or less Blizzard and that's not a bad thing. Although the map is entirely inflexible, it's tough maneuvering around a linear battlefield, the path doesn't seem to offer much choice of movement, you'll be forced to march all the way from your base to your enemy should add more path. And even with the help of Goblin Labs, you won't be able to take them down without a sufficient force since they are red creep camps.

I would like to suggest add shallow water connection from the main base to increase gold mine expansion accessibility. Other than that, it reminds me of my map, 'Blitzkrieg'

Giving this 3/5 for now and hope for approval from moderators anytime soon!

I like what you did with the layout of the map, but I reject the innards of it, the two main bases are too near to each other it would be a 'caged ring' when one of them reached tier 2 where the player is now accessible to air units, sieges and damage power to overwhelm nearby hated neighbor:

just fill those little isles a goblin lab else find a way there not close to each other.
