Gonna update bunch of icons tonight thanks for your input sir!Remove stright black line that defines shape. Use different color (darken with small shift into cooler tone) to define your shape.
Ok I see what your saying, so should I edit the lightning on this or?View attachment 267549
First row, second image - is an illustration of what i meant for shape definition. Generally it is always stacks on lightning use (third and fourth images in first row are about this)
there should not be a black\dark line defining shape as it's on a first image in first row.Ok I see what your saying, so should I edit the lightning on this or?
Yeah thinking about restarting over, I have some ideas from some pictures I found ill update soon.Still looks plastic and substandart. I gived example of how should 3D object be defined. It shouldn't have black outlines defining shape, that is a poor and unacceptable style. If you have troubles updating this icon - rework it.
Thanks man this one was a struggle to figure out how to do it, will update soon!May you define the darkened side by lightening the background (a blueish thing)? Anyway it is already better than it was
Thanks for input I did all I can too the wrench so Ill edit the background effect. It is a single object illustration and there isn't too much space for working on it composition-wise. Material could be better detailed but it is ok. Colors are however too simple, I'd suggest to observe below icon for adding more tones to color scheme. Background effect could be transformed into outline glow.
