good axe icon to RPG

Hmm, in my opinion the colour of the metal part is to bright in my opinion.
I'm not so sure about the shading, but you're the master at icon making, so it's propably alright and I'm just to nooby to see it.

Are you trying a different style NFWar? The shading of the blade looks a lot less realistic when compared to, say your dagger icons.

But wood looks good as usual.

@ Chilla_killa, no you are not nooby. I am also dont like how it turns out.
@ Wrathling, the shape of blade is unusual and seems like I didnt gave right shading to it.

Anyway, very nice NFwar, but the only thing is, the shading on the upper left is not enough. It is far to bright, and draws the eye away from the rest.

Shading looks weird to me too.

I am working on replacement.

Thats probably a good idea, looks a bit too cartoonish IMO.

It is a wonderful made icon and I like how it looks.

DeathKnight weapons and armor represent skulls all over the place. Examples?
Skull kneepads, Skull masks, Skull shoulders, Skulls on boots, Skulls on gauntlets, skulls on swords, skull even as shield pad for "organ". Check out SonsOfTheStorm.com and look at Red Knuckle Concepts.

Same as axes: Axes with blade shape like skull from side. This axe haven't even a little skull like detail, so I say no. I will not add any glow.

I didn't say that's Blizzard icon. It just looks similar.
Anyway it's really nice.
