The sword itself is too thin. Zoom in and work more on the blade and handle (shading, highlights, details). The background effect could need some touch-ups aswell, though that's luxury.

You know what, i'll give you some advices to perhaps remake this icon, or idk what would y do after this. You can be mad or anything else, or not. ;D

As the guy said there is more focus on the bg than the sword. Don't do the whole sword like this, should only show the handle and ofcourse a part of the sword but not the whole. You know it would look more pro and you should zoom it in also.
The shine on the top looks ugly. idk if that's hard, i got no skill in making thee especially with mouse, though you should try to make the whole sword shine instead of it's top.
Um it looks a lil LQ?:OO

The sword is just too long at all.
But I like the look of it, thats why I still uploaded it.
Next one will be shorter and more wide.
To the difficulty: Painting anything with a single brush using the mouse is hard at all.
The other icons were made with almost any tool from photoshop..
