Is it a sword? Nah, the name doesn`t matter. But I think it`s missing a shape inside the blade.

I like it a lot (except the BG) but i wouldnt use for a runic blade.. i would use it for a runic arrow lol

The background is okay but try to fade out the circles more, make the lines and edges less pixelated, define the edge of the runes or they look like blue smears on the blade. I vote approval.

The runes are mixing with the blade. You may brighten theirs borders from one side.

Updated. Tryed to change what you mentioned, also made the blade bigger and tryed to make the BG better. Highlights also changed, and some outlines redone.
