i really like the idea, i wanted to make this long time ago, but i think proportions could be better handled (the top) and floating could be more exaggeratived
love the work none the less
While it's a great rendition of the inspiration-source, I might suggest you make some changes to fit better into Warcraft; mostly just the proportions, though. The boxiness is severe.
I think this could get a great improvement from extruding towards the outside the center of each side (the parts with the doors, the horned skull and the chtulhu eye on top).
You see many concepts of Acherus depict it like an octagon, or sometimes a polygon with even more sides:
All in this model is excellent for acherus. This little shape adjustment would make it perfect.
