AceofSpades

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
The ace of spades. I have all 52 cards. To moderators: Should I upload every card to make a model pack? Is there another way?

Pyritie: You can probably lower the texture to 128x128 and still get away with it. Oh, and you could probably really reduce the textures if you put a spade, heart, club, and diamond on one texture, then made a few planes on each card with the texture on it. You could have a second texture with the A, 2, 3, etc letters on them (in white on a transparent background, then use geoset anims to color the text).

If you really wanted to go all out you could probably combine all of the cards into a single model and then have 52 animations.

Oh, and to get rid of the texture problem, use Textures\white.blp.

Pyritie: I'll reject this for now, to get it out of the Reviewed queue. If you ever get around to fixing this, feel free to PM me and ask me to set it back to Pending so you can update it.

You need to lock game time with these models to noon. They are transparent and you can't read the card during most times of day. The ghost background makes it kinda hard to read the card as well. I will most likely change this. Anyways these are very simple models I made for a card game I'm making.

yes, you really should change it.

Because if i want to use it ingame, in several situations there are lightnings and other light sources, so it would be better, if you could read them the whole day.

By the way, the texture seems to be giant for just a card... i am not good at modeling, but could you improve this?

You mean the filesize? If yes, I agree with you. IncubiProtocoL; do you realize that if you make a game with 52 imported cards that the imported stuff would take ~1,6 mb?
If you make a multiplayer game, most players will find it to big to download thorugh battlenet. Anyway, it's a good idea and good luck with your project.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm very new to modeling. I used to use Maya to make models for Quake. Wish I had a better program for making them for wc3. Anyone know why it says "download ruinsnagacircle"? I made the model from the naga circle but the .mdx is named AceofSpades.mdx. Anyways I'm gonna try to get alot better before I upload anything else.
