STORY
After the accident, the virus spread all over the city causing a massive outbreak, killing innocent people and turning them into mindless flesh-eating zombies. Some of the zombies mutate becoming much stronger making them hard to kill. Several days have past, a scientist have discovered a cure that can stop the spreading of the virus, however, he immediately died by assassination. We found out the location where the scientist have created the cure, however, there are some ingredients missing. The laboratory was made to synthesise and extract mixtures where the anti-virus can be created. Your objective is to rescue the civilians that are trapped in the city and find the missing mixtures to create the anti-virus.

Game comes with a whole new level of game-play. The controls are different and mostly you're going to use your keyboard in game.


  1. Combat System - Auto-aiming / Auto-reloading
  2. Interaction System - Interact with doors, levers, computers, elevators, turrets, etc using one button
  3. Movement System - Arrow key movements (No mouse needed)
  4. Weather System - Adds creepy and tension ambience in-game
CONTROLS

[ESC] > Enables the player to zoom in and out.

[Q] - Shoot - damages enemies in front.

[W] - Reload - reloads your ammunition

[E] - Interact - Interacts with barels, crates, levers, doors, and switches.

[R] - Radar - detects zombies nearby - Requires: Radar

[F] - Loot - Loots a closest item.

[D] - Bag - Gives additional 6 slots - Requires : Backpack

[A] - Flash Light - helps you see further in the dark

ZOMBIES

Normal Zombie - a common zombie that spreads virus

Fast Zombie - a common zombie but runs faster than normal

Villager Zombie - a slow zombie but has greater HP

Mutated Zombie - a zombie that mutates if hp is less than 40% which has great movement speed but lesser HP (Kill it before it mutate)

Digger - a highly intelligent zombie which uses it's large sharp claws to dig underground and suprisingly come out in front of you without knowing. (Pending: Ability)

Licker - a zombie that uses it's long tongue to grab and hold it's target. (Pending: Ability)

Abomination - A large experimental zombie that uses a large kitchen knife to kill its enemy and explodes when his life is less than 15% damaging all nearby units. (no exception) (Kill it before it explode)

Tyrant - A zombie which is the largest among them, it may be slow in moving but bullets will not kill him that easily. It can charge in straight ahead stomping any units on it's path. (Pending: Ability)

- is equipped by assault rifle which deals powerful damage on a single target.
Weapon Type: Assault Rifle
Cooldown: 4 seconds
Damage: 350 (Single Target)
Special Ability: Scope Mode - Increases damage but unable to move
Basic Items: 10 Batteries

Medic - uses a shotgun and good for killing a group of zombies.
Weapon Type: Shotgun
Cooldown: 1.2 seconds
Damage: 80 - 120 (300 AoE)
Special Ability: Sprint Mode - Increases speed but unable to attack
Basic Items: 10 Medik Kits

Assault - uses a semi-automatic rifle to damage enemies in line.
Weapon Type: M16
Cooldown: 0.25 milliseconds
Damage: 40 - 70 (175 AoE upto 600 range)
Special Ability: HE Grenades - Throws a high explosive grenade.
Basic Items: 10 Ammunitions

- Change the model of the Tent
- Isolated the villagers to one location to make it look like the're trapped
- Blocked an entrance building and added a secret ladder entrance instead
- Changed how to throw the grenade to one ability
- Auto-use Medkit(if you have one) when life is very low
- Fixed Floating Text for HP bars
- Changed Cinematic for intro
- Separated a crate for bionic parts (Bionic Armory) which can be found in some hidden parts of the map

The terrain could use some work imo. I like what you did with the camera system. I don't understand why the villagers would stay out in the open in town when they know there's a zombie outbreak.

Thanks for replying. Suggestions is what I really need.
They were actually trapped and that was your first objective in the campaign mode. Rescue the villagers and escort them safely to the base.

Surprised by the intro, really sets the mood nicely!
That counts for your custom sounds as well - looks like you nailed the atmosphere (just get custom music too).

A fine first impression i have to say.

They're trapped outside? Most of the time in zombie games/movies, people will either evacuate their city or hide in the nearest safe area. In this case, the large building behind them in the first gameplay. No one would be dumb enough to reveal themselves to a bunch of blood suckers.

What's worse, is that the villagers doesn't even care about the zombies. A seen in the first gameplay, they have no reaction to the zombies whenever they come close. Heck, they don't even give a shit when they're attacked by the zombies.

AI's need some work. Movement system is already solid. Map got potential and I'd love to see the end results :)

Hi Venge, i played your map when you first released it a month or so ago, i just wanted to say i really liked the opening cinematic, it really see the mood. I might try to play this again with a group of friends later this weekend hopefully. :)

Hi! I appreciate your interest and playing my map! I actually updated it.. try the new version which is 1.2b. I expect that there will be some glitches and bugs in the map so I would really appreciate if you find one. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks again!

Hihi, i played it again today on the easiest difficulty, for some reason each time my friends and i went to the pings on the map to save civilians ( campaign mode ), there was no-one there, or they were already dead, and then we got game over even though 1 of us was still alive.

I will hopefully try again tomorrow :)

This is a really nice zombie map, the only problem I seem to be having, however is that I get huge lag at the start of survival mode and it never goes away. The other player also reported low fps at the beginning. Also, I assume those clues are for missions? I think you should put info about missions or have like -obj command so people know what they are suppose to do in campaign mode.

Hihi, i played it again today on the easiest difficulty, for some reason each time my friends and i went to the pings on the map to save civilians ( campaign mode ), there was no-one there, or they were already dead, and then we got game over even though 1 of us was still alive.

I will hopefully try again tomorrow :)


I actually isolated them behind a building. There's a secret ladder where you can climb up so you can pass through the fence and then enter inside the building. You have to place a landmine or throw grenade to break the rocks that's blocking the way to release the trapped survivors.

Yup, that issue of losing even there's still one left is still on going. I'll go ahead and fix that in the next update. Thanks for playing!

This is really because of how many active units are present in the map. I'll try to look for some leaks that possibly causes the drop of fps. Thanks for testing!
