Sorry, I cannot approve this, it may not have been required to have a description/category/type back when it was submitted. Now, however, it is.
Red = Violated.

Compliance
No map may violate any Hive Workshop general or specific site rules.

Original Work
All maps must be significantly worked on, if not entirely created, by their submitter. Maps that were edited from someone else's work must include proof of permission to edit that work, and the original author may request that the map be taken down at any time.

Third Party Material
All maps must give credit to the authors of material included in the map that is not made by the maker. Pirated or stolen content is not permitted.

Originality
All maps must be distinctively different from other maps in concept. This may include story, gameplay, goals, etc, but restricts maps which are effectively clones of older versions, such as most LOAP and Footman Wars maps.

Completion
All maps must be close enough to completion to allow for a good experience by the player. This does not limit beta maps that are near completion, but does limit alpha and other under construction maps that are not significantly playable.

Gameplay
All maps must be fairly fun and decently balanced.

Presentation
All maps must be made in English, must not contain overwhelmingly bad spelling or grammar, must contain a valid author and map name, and must contain a well-written description to give the reader a good idea of what the map is about. Imports, terrain, camera, and other visuals should complement the game.

Stability
All maps must not have enough bugs to significantly adversely affect gameplay.

Updates
Map updates should be made by using the Update button on the map rather than by resubmitting the map.

Use
The maps section should not be used as a pastebin or testing area, but rather for map distribution. If you wish for an advertising, testing, and more public place for early stages of your map, please use the Map Development forum.

Approval
Maps not meeting all of the above criteria may be approved in rare circumstances. Maps may be rejected at any time for any valid reason given by the moderator who rejects them. Maps need not meet the criteria not applicable to their type. Resource moderators will decide on a case-by-case basis which maps will be approved.

Enforcement
Repeatedly ignoring one or more of these rules may result in negative reputation, infraction points, or even being banned from the site.

Contact
If you wish to request that your map be reviewed, whether for the first time or after fixing problems outlined by a moderator, feel free to post in Map Resource Moderation with a detailed request and a link to the map in question. If you wish to complain about the actions of a moderator, please post in Admin Contact with a detailed request and a link to the issue in question.

This is King Klear's classic survival horror map, which I uploaded here for him.

The official internet site for the map is

This is done very well. King Klear has pulled off a number of things I have only attempted in the past (e.g., the camera changing bit). I know how much of a headache these can be, and what an achievement it is to make these bug-free, at least from what I've played so far.

It is challenging, even on easy, but not altogether impossible. One thing I did note early on in the game was that manual casting of the gunpowder attack often resulted in missing, but autocasting never did.

Currently I'm stuck at the damn rune puzzle in the caves.

EDIT--I beat it, woo!

DAMN... this map is great... It is completely diffrent, and fun...

Allthough i think that more music should be used... And the undead should wait to show them self... So that youre are just hearing sounds seing shadows and so on... A bit more "close cam" on bodys, skulls and so since normal people would react to that... I think :p

And how do you solve that "rune" challenge... I didnt figure it out... So i just destroyed the door instead :p

But a great map... 5/5

I've tried the map again (And actually again, again, again, again and again) and i disagree with something in my first comment...

The music part of it is good (Actually terrific) as it is right now, and it would kill the map to do what i wrote in my first comment...

Allthough i still think there should be "close cams" ans so on bodys, skulls, and so forth, since normal people would react, and i think the "undead" shows themself 2 early... Like Alien 1, where you hardly see the alien, but it is scary as hell, use good sounds, shadow, screaming people (Actually, not since i think they might all already be dead by now :p), Much like Doom3...

I've thougt about making something like this, and i want to ask if i, and everybody else that have an interest in making a horror map in this type, by unsing your engine (Off course giving you credit and links to Zombie Island hp) Why am i asking... Because this is so much better that must of those so called horror maps that there is in Wc3 (Sorry to all who made a good Horror map, without using a system as this) and it would be good to see more in this genre... Allthough i cant make anything right now (My WE stopped working after i updated my MAC OSX :S) , but i hope others will make use of it...

As i said in my first comment, a great and diffrent map, and as "Mind" wrote... This map should be in directors Choice... And thats for sure...

5/5 (And this time i will rate since now im totally satisfaid with the map... Dont know why i wasnt the first time, must have been tired or drunk  )

Edit: By the way... I think the manual cast of gunpowder is better, since when its manual, its throwable... Wich is good since then its possible to kill, without losing any health (Wich is better... Should say itself :p)

Thats an amazing speech! Trying this out now!

EDIT: REVIEW of first quarter of map.

Presentation: the majority of the start is told through the loading screen, as a ship crashes and there is only one survivor. A creepy excellent, ambient cinematic of the ship being wrecked and the survivor [James Hammerfist, that his name?] being knocked out. No music is needed. 10/10.

What could be an original survivor horror - You're even more defenseless then in other survival horrors. However, sadly you can save out of where it tells you to, and load it. Spookily, you go through fixed camera angles, hear a groan or something, go through the dead forest, see a shadow moving along with you through the forest, AND - do the thing I love - give a cameo of a horror before it comes for you. 343 Guilty Spark was brilliant in Halo: Combat Evolved, a creepy, foggy forest with Flood combat forms figures going through places, VERY creepily. After this, on the next screen, you encounter the zombies. You barely have ammo, and if you're not close to them, you'll miss and it'll be wasted. You'll run through them... MORE COMING UP.

Actually you can play this map fine, the download simply has the wrong extension. Someone should probably fix that.

Download the map and change the file extension to .w3x, then it will work fine (tested with 1.23 and 1.24).

I just completed it, it's an amazing display of what's possible with warcraft 3. I'm as impressed now as when I first saw this.

I played it a year ago? Forgot to reply, i can still remember (and that's outstanding for this map, or better: "experience") how i slipped through the first menace, passing the nightmarish scenery. And the riddle in the cave^^, yeah really enjoyable, not too easy (i also liked the use of these grotesque and static tentacles).

Overall a great experience
