Your First Mil

Well in my case I skipped my first mil and went straight to my first 2 mil.

I think the highest I ever got was 300k.. but then that all changed when I found that one legendary ring (that I forget the name of already, but it was a tank ring level 50).

I was almost ready to sell it to some monk I met for 500k, but he didnt have the scratch.

So I waited a few hours.. then went to the AH and what I saw puzzled me.

There was a version of the same ring (only without sockets and more stretched out stats, with less stats total) selling for 3.3 mil (being the cheapest). Thinking nobody would ever pay that much for that ring I lol'ed and put mine up for 3 mil.

Well turns out I was wrong.

Anywhoo with the 15% deduction I made a total profit of 2,550,000 gold off a random so-so legendary that dropped off a random zombie in A1 Hell while leveling my alt.

I never got too much money on me, so I have never reached 1m.

My biggest problem is that I always sell things for too cheap, an item which I could sell for 600k I set at 150k ._.

Also, legendary items are worse than normal items 95% of the times, one of the reasons people buy them are the legendary material you get from salvaging them.

I don't think I've topped 150K at this point and that's with a 53 Monk. I always vend shit or if I AH it, I do so for megacheap because I don't give a fuck. Selling blues for 15 - 20K, for example. I just don't want to have to put it back up if no one buys it.

You can earn 300K an hour in hell mode playing second part of A3 to Diablo. In Inferno A1 that is even higher.

I've made a few mil and all I can suggest is to play the AH game. It's worked well for me.

Just keep a calculator near-by and don't over-reach (sell for a serious undercut to create high turnover but still make $)

How does one do that? It is not like people sell good items for cheap and shifting crap at higher market prices takes forever (you only have 10 slots which is why the person was selling it cheap for throughput).
