My favorite mission was the one where you had to survive for 30 minutes I believe. It was in the Human campaign. I always love those missions because they give you that anticipation for the big fight at the end. You just know that those last few minutes are going to be hectic. I will admit that the first couple times I played it; I lost. Lol, 60 minutes of my life gone to waste right there. Than I love at the end where Uther and his knights show up. It's like, "about time, and why didn't I get any knights!?" Lol, in fact, I think Arthas kind of said the same thing.

I can think of various interesting missions. One of them is the defense of Hearthglen, which JimBob just mentioned above me. The following playable level, which is the Culling at Stratholme, is also quite fun.
I believe the Human campaign is the funniest because all maps are averagely interesting and are always surrounded by an appealing storyline.
The same adjectives can be applied to the other campaigns nonetheless, but I think those two missions are indeed the ones that captivate me the most. The last mission of the Night Elf campaign is very fun too.

Actually, I agree with all of you: My favorite missions were the defense of Hearthglen, the Battle for Mount Hyjal and the weird fight for Illidan in TFT (Most enjoyable if you had the Panda with you).

I like Orc campaign. Whole. I mean, discovering new land, centaurs, quillboars, tauren etc. BUT I prefer last mission in that campaign "Under the Burning Sky".

the first sentinel mission in tft. i really learned to love warcraft 3, because it was the first mission i ever played (i got the bundle) and the athmosphere just was amazing its about 7 years since that day but up to now i have much fun when i play this mission again.

The entire Orc campaign was well done. I too loved the feeling of discovering new lands and races. I'd have to say that the undead campaign was the only one I was kind of disappointed with. The expansion undead campaign was good though.

yes.. the terrain in some undead roc missions was realy bad. siege of dalaran was ugly.

I really liked the levels where I play with the damn OP naga in the NE and BE campaigns <3

But, my favorite must be the first TFT Undead level. It was fun to posses a bunch of militia captains and stuff with Sylvanas' banshees, and slaughtering innocents who were running for their lives (<3). ^^

I had forgotten about that one. Yeah, the strife for Illidan's cage was very fun.

Did you try it on Hard? On that setting of difficulty, multiple forces try to escape at the same time, it's much harder.

Well, it's supposed to be harder... But still, the trick was to leave enough troops at the exits and attack from one side at a time untill you join forces, and then it's cake.

Funnier of course its the battle where you move illidan evrywhere xD that maiev caused so much pain

the other fun one is where you are with maiev on sargeras tomb, and i liked the search of the dark orb or something. (at that time i didn't knew anything about warcraft lore, when i saw the shadow of sargeras i thought: "OMG Imba boss, godlike battle" . well i thought that sargeras would appear as an undead and fight. after i got dissapointed i tohught at least i would fight with that new illidan with the eye. got dissapointed twice T.T...)

I liked the tomb with mieve, try to find some orb of power, type in the all seeing cheat and find the power ups, and then, when you find the summoning spot, run like the devils after you.

i liked that mission too but the real good thing in it was to find the orbs by yourself
i played hours on that mission but when i had found the last piece it was great^^

The entire blood elf campaign has the better missions in my opinion.
Personally, the assault at magtheridon´s lair, the " Capture the illidan", the prison escape(including the secret level), and the mission where you control blood elfs and nagas asaulting the portals in outland are my favourites totally, also, the last NE mission and the tomb of sargeras (both parts).
In RoC the mission where you have to figth possesed Grom, and the orc campaign overall.

Personally i think RPG-ish chapters, and "base defense and build to attack later" are the best ones, but thats my opinion.

I like undead RoC levels, in Quel'thalas.

I like mission with Sylvanas where you need to brainwash creeps to have an army. There are many more but most are already mentioned.
