Well that post was so fail that it was worth the necro.

However we may not limit to these 8 planets. Hopefully in future they will discover more extrasolar planets which are not gas giants and they can be anything else we see in our system. However I doubt we will ever see any of them, only references will be artistic images based on astronomers specifications.

Saturn deserves more votes. It's obviously perfect! It's huge compared to Earth, it has rings, and it's color is awesome.

Pluto isn't a planet. Pluto is smaler than the moon (approximately 1/2 the size). If they kept pluto as a planet, the solar system would have much, much more than nine planets.

So no, the moon cannot be considered a planet. Even if it wasn't orbiting around the Earth, because it's too small.
