Nudl9, yes, I agree. It is fitting that all contests running near Christmas (time) have a Christmas theme.

That would be awesome, but i think it would be best if as many as possible could join this contest.
So a xmas minigame map contest would be best.

I don't really like how the last one turned out. People lost interest too soon, I think because it was too complex, and also, relying on others usually results in failure. I suggest you put up a poll asking what people would like to see.

If we do have a contest i think it should start up on the 1.st december end on 14.th december and voting ends on the 21.st december.

It would make sense to make it some sort of simple minigame'ish contest, like Nudl proposed, something that simply only lasts 2 weeks but also only asks for a somewhat simple and entertaining minigame map.

And xmas theme maybe or even just winter themed... xmas is somewhat limited seeing as you have santa and that's about it.

Let's just face the facts

We're not good with contests at the moment. Yeah. Its getting hard to get people finishing them, let alone a moderator to judge them

I suppose something might happen, but at the moment its looking pretty bleak

We have another thread going in the Contest Submissions forum, I think we've decided which contest will have the Christmas theme. But we do not have judges, nor do we have a host. This is a huge problem.

It doesn't have to be a mapping or modelling/texturing. Maybe it could pass as the next comic contest?
