Yeah I know. Also from the angle you play at things look a lot better. It would lag pretty bad if they added a ton of environment as well.

Aww, I got moved. I think WoW is as good looking as it could be. It came out a while ago and the engine wasn't near what they are now.

As I said STV is my favorite. Although I only reached 45 before stopping. I know people with 70's and have seen a bit of the high level areas, but not all.

I think the PVP aspect of outland is the big draw. The landscapes are pretty nice in some areas.

Pehaps it's just me lamenting about the good 'ol days of WoW...I don't play anymore, but I doubt things have improved. It's by no means horrible, but for those that were around from the start, few can say it's better now.

I played the beta. I know from then it has improved. One would hope that the game has gotten more and more balanced. It's never perfect, and people will never stop whining when they lose, but I believe it is better.

Balance is never really an issue. No one ever actually quits because of balance because nothing is ever so imbalanced to throw people out. People quit if their class is boring, but never because it's bad.

I just mean that the honor system is poor, BGs are boring and repetitive, flying mounts aren't all that hot (swimming code in mid-air...wee...)

The days of lurking danger in STV and mini-outdoor PvP while questing were the best, or when UBRS was epic. Seems these days Blizzard is trying to make everything easy to do...fight in PvP, spec your talents, get epics...lost some of the awe of discovery and accomplishement.

I agree things may be a tad easy. Although, realistically people with full epics in TBC play a lot. The old one was just crazy. You needed to play forever, everyday, and have no life to get to High Warlord. I much prefer the system now, I just think they could possibly make it a tad harder, make the epics cost a little more. People just skip blues now.

It's opinion. I am guessing you like the idea of a few elite getting to High Warlord.

Sort of. Despite how everyone wants epics, it's no fun having a path laid out for you. In TBC, you've got gear for every spec from each vendor for Honor or tokens or whatever. Back in the day, there were so many ways you could be an Arms MS 31/20 warrior...massing crit, hit, or stamina...and so many blues and dungeons to explore. These days it's "buy-this-set-because-it's-good." The diversity of the game is gone.

Yeah, I like a few elite getting High Warlord. I was never one, farthest I got was Sergeant or something...but before TBC, I'd never completed MC, but my gear was pretty amazing, and was fun to get, scrounging across the world. TBC you can do the same thing over and over and get uber gear.

I agree with you in part. Having things laid out for you is lame. All warriors are the same spec for PVP for example. There needs to be more diversity on spec. I know most people go for the Arena gear, and it's way too easy to get. I think you should really have to work up to blues, then epics. It would be hard to do, but way better. I do think that it's good how they are getting more for the PVP though. Raiding just doesn't seem as exciting. I never hit 60 before I quit, but I liked BG way more than instances.
