WorldEdit crashes Computer randomly!

I have a problem. My world Editor crashes my computer. The computer is still on, but it no longer outputs video to my monitor. I reinstalled drivers to the latest and greatest. It's randomly it could be 10 minutes to a few seconds and World Edit is the only that does it. I have no addons or not using a third party worldedit. I have all updates and everything. It's not certain maps either because I opened WorldEdit with no map open and it still does it.

It could be some anti-virus program or some other security program on your computer that could be doing it but I'm not sure, what kind of computer and what system does it have? (Windows/Mac; Windows XP/Vista/7)

Avast! and I have windows Vista.

I know extremely little about Vista, I'm one of the people who went from XP -> 7 skipping Vista in the process, I heard that Vista was... well what I heard made me skip it, you're problem is strange... have you tried opening it Safe Mode (just a shot in the dark)
