[Crash] World Editor will not launch

There is no error message, it shows up for a moment in Task Manager but never launches. The only thing I can think of that might be causing it is that I extracted one of the campaign maps for a project I'm working on, but that has never given me any issues before. The only difference is that I used CASC Viewer instead of the old MPQ editor.

I had this happen before. I solved it by restarting my computer, and then doing a cold reboot.
The reboot may be necessary if you updated WC3 through battlenet.

Try using B.net's patcher to repair your install. I'm telling you this because I noticed that extracting files using CASC Viewer seems to mess with wc3's files at times and that's what fixes it.

I had to uninstall and reinstall it.
