World Editor Time Frozen

you know on the editor at the bottom right corner there is a timer that i suppose gives the current time on the map. mine is frozen and although it doesnt ruin any functionality its annoying bc im working with dark tilesets and the time is stuck at 00:00 (midnight) making the whole editor very dark. going to prefrences and changing the time doesnt work either, any ideas?

Go to Scenario > Map Preferences... and edit the Time of Day field.

The selections available should be:

• Use Editor Preference
• Not Fixed
• Fixed - Dawn
• Fixed - Noon
• Fixed - Dusk
• Fixed - Midnight

If the field is set at Use Editor Preference but it is still fixed, then go to File > Preferences... and click on the "Visual" tab. You'll see many fields for modifying editor defaults.

ive tried both ): but it still stays at midnight.
however when i set it to "no preference" the time at the bottom displays some ridiculous number but it doesnt change anything else as far as i know.

Yea, have you tried re-installing? It sounds like your World Editor is glitchy.

You using custom world editor? Like outdated JNGP or something?

yeah i just re-installed and its fine again but all my files are gone ): haha ohh well.

You should have backed them up...

nah i did, just stuff like the UI folder is just...gone but ill worry about that later.
