Wood(Foot)man Skin

So i had this idea of a Footman-in training, and decided to make one with wood/leather equipment.

Please, disregard the actual skin image (unwrapped) and put more comments on the "wrapped" one.

looks a bit like fur, might want to make some knobs in the wood, also the tassel looks like wood so you may want to change that to color or remove it completely. FYI the tassel wrap is the lower part of the mustache.

Looks very nice, as usual. However, the woodgrain could do with a bit more contrast and definition. The leather needs a bit more work as well, but otherwise it looks good.

Ok, well besides the obvious use of filters heavily for the armor
It's a good idea, the cloth and metal armor you did is good
Do more freehand on this

I like it very much.First of all,why his sword is wooden too?
He looks nice,the skin didn't need much detail and the result is nice.

As mentioned in first post, footman in training. I thought that he should first be wood, then steel, then gold (captain).

Back in times where man didn't have gun you wouldn't use the compound Gold for making weaponry, seeing as it was worth ever so much therefore if the owner died the enemy would just take the golden armour, then sell it off.

Also, it would be heavier than steel, so would wood if wet.

they did use wood for training as it was classed "non lethal" due to it not having an edge, gold was not used due to weight, value, and its actually really soft so it wouldnt do much good to have it, however the wealthy did use it to accent their armour and the hilt and scabbard. the wood guy looks good tho.. gj man
