WIP: Megaman Battle Network - Netbattle (+Dev Log, Updated every weekday) Day 3
Map: Megaman Battle Network - Netbattle
Creator: DarkSonic999/Redsonic (Same person. Different usernames)
Stage: Alpha
(This post will update itself every weekday, similar to the Super Smash Bros. Brawl website, =D)
How to Play:
A Quick summary. The first person to win fifty matches, wins. You should have a pretty neat deck by the end of the game, but be reminded your Megachips and Datachips will not proceed to the next games.
Now, you begin as a normal player, a human, and you get your first Net Navi and Chip set. From here on out, you can challenge others by walking onto a Stage Beacon, and having another player go on the other side of that beacon. That's how challenges work, you will fight in that stage. For example, if a stage beacon is by some trees, it will be the Forest Stage.
The area your human walks around while not in battle is the 'adventure' area. It has some shops, stage beacons, some quests, and things to do to earn money and chips.
While in battle, it's PLANNED to move using the Arrow Keys, but we're attempting to find a way to ensure it doesn't mess up the camera. So far, it's planned to have two types of control. 1.) Arrow Keys, which i'm trying to make sure doesn't mess up the game camera, and 2.) Click one of your spaces to teleport to said space
When a battle begins, your net navi has a move called ''Custom''. Use that right away, it'll fill your net navi's inventory with five random chips from your chipset. It has a recharge of about 10 seconds. Now, let's say you use 3 chips this turn. Then, the next time you use CUSTOM, it'll give you 3 random chips to fill up the ones you used. What happens when you run out of chips? Your navi also contains a move called the Mega Buster. You can use it to deal small amounts of damage when you lack the chips.
What is This?:
What is This? -In depth Look-
Megaman Battle Network is a game for Nintendo based on the hit series. You play as LAN, who is an ordinary school child in the world of technology, the future, if you will.
He uses net navis, advanced ''cyber programs'' that act like living things, to battle his friends.
This game generally emulates that aspect.
Chips:
Chips -In depth Look-
Megabomb : The megabomb is an excellent datachip. To use it, you simply select an enemy space that the enemy's net navi is not on. The bomb will attach itself to that space, the enemy cannot move there. In one second, the bomb will blow up, and the spaces to the left and right of the bomb will deal 40 damage to any net navi on those spaces.
Sword : One of the most powerful datachips is the Sword. All you have to do is get close range to the enemy and use it! It attacks the space directly in front of you for 80 damage. Pretty neat, eh?
Cannon : This is a very, very good long-range chip. It deals 40 damage to any enemy that's in any space that's in front of you. How useful is that? That's what I thought! Very useful indeed.
Stages:
Forest
Lake
Stages -In depth Look-
Forest : One of four ''stages'', the stage is set for two players willing to delete eachother, how nice. The scenery is set as the tides of battle shape themselves. The atmosphere is nice...makes you want to delete stuff, doesn't it?
Lake: A Battle in a lake? You don't say! The atmosphere just pumps us up for battle...sweet!
