Will that work if I have a custom item named Blizzard in a shop?

I want to know because I was fooling around with a new concept for a Hero Wars or Hero Arena where you build your character from the bottom up.

he doesn't want to get the ability when buying it, he wants it when using the item
and yes it would work but the spaces for abilites is rather limited

Just a guess, but wouldn't this only work if the Hero unit already has the ability, though not learned it yet. I mean i don't know your hero, but afaik if you put a blank hero with no abilitys on him and use this trigger, i doubt it will work. If it does, i was wrong, if it doesn't, add the action "Unit - add Ability Blizzard to Triggering Unit" before the "learn Skill action"

Since there is only 7 ability spaces (others taken by move, defend, patrol, attack and stand ground) You might want to add a variable to tell the player there are no spell slots left.

Blizzard
Events
Unit - Unit uses in item
Conditions
Item being manipulated is equal to blizzard (item ability)
Actions
If, then, else (multiple actions)
_If
__Abilitynumber(REAL) is less than 7
_Then
__Add ability blizzard (hero) to triggering unit
__Set abilitynumber(REAL) to (abilitynumber(REAL) + 1)
_Else
__Add item blizzard (actual item) to triggering unit
__Send game message --You already have too many abilities and have been given your spell item back--

Sorry for bad layout. May not have wording 100% accurate.
